Meet Kathy and Brian.
As you can see, their passions include gardening and art. Music, travel, golf, tennis, boating, fishing, video production, and meeting visitors from all parts of the world are additional interests.
Brian Baxter has over the last 30 years or so established himself as one of New Zealand's most sought after artists in the field of landscape, flower studies and still life.
He works in oils, acrylics and watercolours in a "traditional representational" way and his paintings hang in many countries around the world.
After three European paintings tours, Brian now works mainly from his studio at their Marlborough Bed and Breakfast, except for some field trips and "plein air" painting.
Kathy makes sure guests are made welcome and are properly catered for. As well as providing a welcoming cup of tea and tasty breakfasts, she has a good local knowledge when it comes to helping arrange activities like wine tours, restaurant bookings, sightseeing etc. Her interests include her wonderful prize-winning gardens and her video production of such things as weddings, family functions.
